Apart from a bias for fresh juices and tropical fruit juices, I don't see much keeping me from trying goji berry juice, the subject of a lot of recent hype and controversy.
(Goji is also known a wolfberry or 枸杞 or Gochi)
One friend I've known for "most of the time I've been around" swears by the stuff and suggests that goji berry juice is linked to improvement in his daughter's health and in improvements in other friends, including friends diagnosed with cancer.
At the same time, many naysaying sources suggest some of the Goji hype to be scams filling the pockets of opportunists.
I'm in no rush to suggest that Goji is a cure for cancer, or cure for anything. I'm in no rush to even guess into the hype about nutritional content, subjective benefit, or placebo effect.
Seeing how more than one friend has welcomed the product and suggested health benefits, I'd just as well relay that message: It's juice! If you like juice too, consider trying goji berry juice. Steer clear of the cheap stuff unless you've got your own berries to juice.
What has been your experience with Goji? Interesting juice, miracle cure, hyped? Anecdotes welcome!
If you take the plunge and "go Goji," do consider my friend's link: http://bit.ly/fqi5K
